Dr. Ashok Bera is currently an Associate professor in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. Prior to joining IIT Jammu, he was working as a DST Inspire Faculty at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela. He has done his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, India, in 2012. After that, he was appointed as a postdoctoral fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. He has published more than 50 papers in reputed peer reviewed journals. He is also the recipient of the Newton International Postdoctoral Fellowship, UK.
